Karen and I love our community and feel it’s important to give back to the places that have done so much for us over the years. You see, our son, Alex, has cerebral palsy. Over the past 17 years, not only have we received support and guidance from some amazing people and organizations in the Gaston County area, but we also know that there are plenty of other families like ours that need that vital assistance too. Three charities in Gaston County, in particular, are near and dear to us for the work they do for children and adults with special needs. And we want to show them support in return.
After closing on your new home, we'll contribute $500 to your choice of one of the three charities listed below. And if you can also make a personal donation, we'll match that donation up to an additional $500.

Victory Farms is a therapeutic equestrian center in Gastonia that provides physical, mental, and emotional support through equestrian therapies for the special needs rider.

This nonprofit’s mission is educating and empowering people to utilize Assistance Dogs to transform their lives.
We have over 1,200 highly trained Assistance Dogs with one or more certifications providing support in areas such as psychiatric service, mobility, and crisis response, just to name a few. Together, these dogs have made more than 1,000,000 contacts.
Presently, we specialize in training customized Assistance Dogs for two general groups: children and adolescents with physical, neurological, psychiatric, and/or emotional disabilities; and Veterans and Service Members with Chronic/Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma, and Moral Injury.
WEBB STREET SCHOOL
A K-12 public, separate school that serves students with cognitive impairments in Gaston County.
